I am writing to respectfully request financial assistance for the medical treatment of my daughter Zyanah Beatriz M. Samonte, diagnosis LANGERHANS CELL HISTIOCYTOSIS MULTI-SYSTEM (SKIN&BONE) RELAPSED.

I am reaching out to you in the hope that you might able to provide some financial assistance to help us pay for her Laboratory, Skeletal survey, Whole abdomen ultrasound and Medical expenses. Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated And would help ease the financial burden on our family. I found out a niece of a very good family friend of ours is sick with leukemia. I think Jun and Connie would know Wency de la Vina (formerly at IRRI water department)–his niece was diagnosed with cancer and needs help. I appreciate your consideration to approve this case. Please let me know your thoughts as soon as you are able to look over this.

Dear Everyone:

I found potential recipients for the MEFI foundation program. I got reconnected to a former roommate of mine in college at UP–he is now the director of the Oncology Treatment and Research Department at UP PGH in Manila. He is Dr. George Ignacio. In my conversation with him lately, I came to find out that they have children with cancer patients. 

I thought to let you know that this is a very good way for us to distribute resources from MEFI. If you are in agreement, I will let Dr. Ignacio identify potential recipients (fits eligibility) that we can provide support.

Proceeds will support the foundation in providing assistance to cancer-stricken children and young adults (up to 21 yrs old) and their immediate family members in Arkansas and in the Philippines.

MEFI has already provided assistance to 5 children and 1 young adult in Arkansas and 3 children in the Philippines. Your support and donations will certainly be appreciated by the future recipients of the foundation.
